I have mentioned before the I am a bit of a prop junkie. Well, I figured I should let you all have a sneak peek BEFORE coming into the studio. I have seen the “deer in the headlights” look from moms who are totally overwhelmed by all of their choices, and I want to solve that problem. I pulled out a bunch of my props, I JUST FINISHED sewing 12 buntings, and I threw together a few sample set ups for some inspiration! Take a look, and let me know if any fit your style! We can (obviously) mix & match anything seen here…and this only SOME of what I have.
I have a bunch of other smaller backdrops, but I got a little overwhelmed trying to sample everything. Have something in mind that you don’t see here? JUST ASK, and I will try my best to make it happen!
Here is a quick look at the birthday hats, ties, and bowties I have in studio. I made the ties and hats to coordinate with our buntings and Banners. Bow Ties made by the wonderful A Rose For Rae
Here is an adorable Russian Doll bunting paired with color coordinating props.
Here is a simple, gender neutral set up. Perfect for cake smash, or birthday photos. I love the bright colors.
And a simple blue themed set up. Great for newborns, toddlers, or smash the cake sessions.
I have a ton of newborn props, and also do much of a newborn session on my beanbag…but this little blue bed is sooo adorable!!
I love the simplicity of this set up, and the bright bunting. This would be adorable for first birthday photographs, as well as a cake smash, or even a newborn. Love the gender neutral set ups!
Woodland themed bunting pairs nicely with the wood crate and green wraps. I love to pop my crawlers into crates…as it keep them from scooting away. Plus, it just looks adorable. This set up would be perfect for a newborn, a first birthday cake smash, or even a school aged little one.
Teal and grays paired with a vintage wash basin. Perfect for newborns, or sitters. This basin is a great sitter assister. Keeps the new sitters from toppling over!
Here is one of my “go to” newborn props. My nest is so perfect for those newly hatched babies! I love how this prop can be used with all sorts of different wraps, throws, buntings, etc. to change up the look.
A grungy, edgy set up. Brick wall, torn fabric bunting, and vintage luggage on a wire crate. For bad-ass babies only.
Polka dots & deer in glasses? A timeless classic. Ha. I love the gray with this turquoise bunting. Imagine a toddler in black rimmed glasses? Great for a cake smash, birthday session, or an older kiddo!
Cowboy (or cowgirl!) themed set, with cowboy bunting and color coordinating rocking chair and stool.
Can someone let me borrow a new sitter to use this set up for? I’m in love!! I am sort of obsessed with my tiny couch, and love how nice it looks with the gray backdrop. All little girls look adorable in this one. For reals.
White brick backdrop, with CHALKBOARD BUNTING. I love with this banner, as it can be personalized for any occasion. Perfect for birthday photography, cake smash photos, newborns, and just about anything else! Also I am smitten with my new chair.
This chair is AMAZING because it works great for my mamas, as well as kiddos (and babies who are sitting). I just love how tiny it makes the littles look, and it is a beautiful chair for the bigs too!
For my newborn photography, I tend to use a TON of different wraps. I just love the pop of color you can add with a simple wrap. I have wraps in all colors for both boys and girls.
Knit hats, knit wraps, knit nests…I can’t get over how adorable they all are. It makes my uterus ache. I have a HUGE selection of newborn hats, newborn wraps, newborn nests…etc. in studio. Awesome.
This is about when I got lazy. Instead of setting these up, I figured you can get the idea of the different blankets I have if I just took a picture of my blanket shelf. Sorry (Not sorry). Also check out my cake stands. There are more, but these are some of them!
…annnnnnd here is where I gave up all together. I didn’t even set up any lighting, or even turn the studio lights off so they wouldn’t be backlit. Here is my tower of buckets, bins, and crates. Oh, and vintage luggage.
