Adorable family session, Mill Creek family photographer June Bug Photography

This little lady is homeschooled, and comes to me each year for an updated school photo. I have a special place in my heart for homeschooling families, as I worked for many years at a Homeschool Resource Center.

She is simply the sweetest, and has the BEST IDEAS. She spotted my unicorn headband as soon as she walked in the door, and I promised her that she would get a chance to wear it. We got through the “traditional” poses, and then she totally rocked the unicorn headband. Like, ROCKED IT.

I couldn’t let the session end without getting little brother in front of the camera, and the two of them are just the sweetest together. I love working with such happy, loving, fun families. Love it!

Maternity Session in Edmonds, Mill Creek maternity photography.

Mom and dad are already so clearly in love with baby E. I cannot wait to meet him, because he has the most amazingly sweet parents EVER! I had so much fun getting to know them during their materinty session in Edmonds, and I am so excited that I get to see them every few months for their milestone & newborn sessions.

Mama is simply stunning, and has the most amazing hair! We met in Edmonds, as it hold a special place in their hearts.

Fun family session, in studio Mill Creek family photographer June Bug Photography.

I LOVE family sessions, because I get the chance to capture REAL moments. We play. We have fun. I love all the different amazing personalities in this family. I always know that I’m going to have a fun session with these guys, and they never disappoint.

Happy Birthday, Emerson!

This adorable little man is on the move!! I had such a blast meeting him, and mom and dad. He destroyed the cake right away, but took a few minutes to actually eat any of it.

I love finishing up cake smashes with a bubble bath, although Emerson wasn’t thrilled about the idea…until the rubber duckies. Rubber duckies make everything better!

Cakes smashes are such a fun way to celebrate such a huge milestone!! Cake smash sessions are fun for the entire family, and the best part? I do all the clean up!

Newborn Photos, Mill Creek WA

I am seriously so in awe of how beautiful this entire family is!! Mom, Dad, and Big Brother are all model status…so its no surprise that baby is simply handsome!

This little man knocked it out of the park, and was a total sleepy snuggle bug for the entire session. I just adore his head full of hair! Isn’t he just the cutest?!

Cake Smash and First Birthday Session at the Park

This little man has grown SO MUCH since the last time I saw him! We met to celebrate his first birthday, and got up super early for a gorgeous sunrise session. The light was perfect, and we had the park all to ourselves!

I typically do cake smashes in studio, as they are so much easier to clean up that way…but this was pretty awesome! Birthday boy used his thumb to eat his cake, and the roosters wanted to come taste it too! Mama was on rooster duty, and chased them off whenever they got too close.

6 month milestone session. Baby photography Mill Creek.

I know that life can get crazy during baby’s first year, and it is so easy to skip milestone sessions between 3-12 months…but I just have to say, between 6-9 months is my absolute favorite age to photograph.

This little man totally rocked his 6 month session. He was just so charming and adorable, and I am so happy to have met him. I just love having happy, loving families in studio. Warms my heart!

Some great milestones to capture include: first smiles, tummy time, sitting unassisted, clapping, “cruising”, crawling, eating solid foods, standing, and MORE.

I have found that baby’s attention span between 3-9 months can be short, and we often don’t need a “full” 60 minute session. I will be holding “MILESTONE MINIS” each month, where you can bring in baby and capture these fleeting moments. Sessions will be super simple, quick, and easy. Newborn photography session, June Bug photography Mill Creek family photographer

I had another session with a 6 week old newborn, and she was amazing!! The whole family is gorgeous, and they were just so sweet! I had such a great time getting to know them, and I just love that their little one was soooo good to us. At 6 weeks, she wasn’t interested in some of the curled up newborn poses, but we were able to get some pretty stinkin’ cute sleepy shots after she dozed off!

Typically, newborn photography is best done during baby’s first 2 weeks, but this little one rocked her session anyway! Mom and dad are so smitten with their little one, and totally have this whole parenting thing down already.

9 month milestone session, family photography Mill Creek

This little muffin has the most gorgeous eyes! I am pretty smitten with the entire gallery, but here are a few of my favorites:

This little one is 9 months old, and LOVES her mom and dad. It was so cute to see them interact with eachother, they CLEARLY adore eachother. Milestone sessions are such a great way to capture those HUGE milestons, like baby sitting on their own, baby crawling, standing, etc. I just love this age!

Family session, with a 6 week newborn! Mill Creek family photographer

I had such a great time getting to know this family! They were referred to me by one of my favorite clients, so I knew they would be great to work with, and they didn’t disappoint.

Although this was primarily a family session, their littlest one fell asleep toward the end of the session…so naturally we got some adorable classic newborn shots. Baby is 6 weeks old, and typically those curly, sleepy newborn poses are done before baby is 2 weeks old…but this little princess was sleeping so soundly we were able to get some adorable sleeping shots.

I have had some fantastic luck with older newborns in studio lately, and I will NEVER turn a newborn away for being too old! We can capture gorgeous images at ANY age, and sometimes we get lucky with a sleepy older baby and can try these sleepy poses too!
